January 8 through January 29, during the 9:30am hour, special classes are being offered to help start your New Year off well. Classes are listed below but a list of class descriptions can be picked up at the Welcome Desk. Plan now to attend the class that would best help you in your spiritual growth.

Builders in 2012 - Part 2 - We Welcome
Welcoming people new to Kossuth and new to our class is something we want to improve on this semester. Each of us can remember the first Sunday we were in the Builders ABF. Maybe you were welcomed by a friendly face or maybe you sat down, didn't talk to anyone, and left as soon as the teaching was over. Either way, God used something or someone to keep you coming back.
We want to be more intentional about welcoming people. We'll have some more organized and structured times for doing this. If we say we value something but don't provide any time for it to happen, do we really value it?
Starting in February at the start of class, John Sprunger will do announcements, lead a time of sharing and prayer, and have some ice-breaker or get-to-know-you activities.
But welcoming people isn't John's job. He's just providing an opportunity for you all to be welcoming and to get to know someone. And the only opportunity to welcome someone isn't just on their first Sunday.
Get to church early, drop off the kids, get your coffee, and find a seat by 9:25 so that you can use the first 15 minutes of class well. Because you can't have fellowship (which is next week's topic) with someone if you don't even know their name.
