Sunday Preview
- Builders ABF - It's our last week together and also our last chapter in 1 Corinthians. Pastor Tim will take us through chapter 16 and then take us on a quick review of the book. If you've had questions that weren't answered before, come ready to answer them on Sunday

1 Corinthians Scripture Memory
“All things are lawful,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful,” but not all things build up. Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor. Eat whatever is sold in the meat market without raising any question on the ground of conscience. For "the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof." If one of the unbelievers invites you to dinner and you are disposed to go, eat whatever is set before you without raising any question on the ground of conscience. But if someone says to you, "This has been offered in sacrifice," then do not eat it, for the sake of the one who informed you, and for the sake of conscience— I do not mean your conscience, but his. For why should my liberty be determined by someone else's conscience? If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of that for which I give thanks? So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved. (1 Corinthians 10:23-31 ESV)
Children's Department Summer Help
Passing along the following note from Connie Williams...
I am looking for a sub for myself for the summer quarter during Sunday School. I basically greet visitors, put toys away, assist in potty breaks, serve as hall monitor, etc. I arrive downstairs at 8:45.
Jerry Smelser and I will be taking turns in this area during Children's Church, so we will be able to sit in service once in a while.
If you can sub one month, or two, or three, (June, July, August), that would be very helpful. Please pray about it and let me know what you decide. Thank you!
Blessings,
Connie Williams

Bible Doctrine Study
Pastor Whipple is leading a study group of Wayne Grudem's Bible Doctrine (I've mentioned this book a couple of times in class). They meet on Monday mornings at the church from 7:00 - 8:00 am. Several Builders teachers are joining up with the group and we'd love to have a few more join us. If you'd like to come, email Pastor Whipple at don@ksbc.net to let him know.
