Sunday Mornings

Our Sunday morning college class is one of several classes that meet between our two services on Sunday mornings. The morning services are scheduled as follows:

• 8:00 AM: First service
• 9:30 AM: College class
• 10:45 AM: Second service

The van ride that we offer from campus to Kossuth Street Baptist Church on Sunday mornings arrives in time for the college class and returns students to campus after the second service. We have three full-size vans, but usually we pick students up with a green van with a sign on the side displaying our name and logo.

The college class meets in our church’s Ministry Center. In the picture on the upper right, taken from the parking lot, it’s in the wing of the church on the left side of the picture. The Ministry Center was once our church’s sanctuary; following our building expansion in 1997, it was converted into a multipurpose room that serves as a basketball/volleyball court, classroom, and dining hall.

Upon entering the Ministry Center, you will see a welcome table with name tags to fill out. Behind the seating area, you should also see a table of refreshments–usually coffee, milk, orange juice, and doughnuts. Feel free to grab a bite to eat and to get to know some of the people of Salt and Light.

The Sunday School or ABF (Adult Bible Fellowship) time will begin with a relevant teaching topic followed by discussion at tables of 6-8 people.

After the lesson is over, we will head over to the sanctuary for the 10:45 service. But make sure, before you leave the Ministry Center, to fill out a contact form to let us know how we can help you and how you’d be interested in serving SLCF.
