The Gospel is the message of good news that the One and Only Holy God, who is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and who alone is authoritative over all things, and to Whom each of us must give an account, has provided for the salvation of rebellious, sinful, lost people through the perfect life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of His One and Only Son, Jesus, who, through His death on the cross, paid for the sin of anyone who will, by faith alone, turn from their sin and submit their life to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. This message is not a general message; it is a personal message from a personal God which requires a personal response.
