A King leaves his servants with money to invest and grow for him while he goes away. He returns after a long time away to evaluate and reward his servant's efforts on his behalf. Some do very well because they were faithful with small things while the King was away. Others face severe judgment because they did nothing, thereby demonstrating their disobedience and rejection of the King and his authority. Jesus uses these themes to explain what our lives as his followers should be like as we wait for him to return.
This week we are studying from Colossians 4:2-6 as it relates to Luke 19:11-27
