Obedience is what God expects

One of the dominant themes in scripture is that of obedience. Some religions call for obedience as a means to stay in the good graces of their god or to some how win special favor during times of need. In scripture, obedience is not seen as a bargaining chip but is to be a way of life that is as natural as eating, drinking and breathing. This type of obedience is what God expects from his children and has been the message that he has sent through his prophets and today through his word.

This week we are studying from Jeremiah 35
