Getting close to people can hurt sometimes. We are called of God to live lives of aggressive love and relational care that requires getting involved with people as much as possible. Yet, for those who try living close to people, you know how frustrating and painful that can be sometimes. Jesus made it clear that the most powerful distinguishing mark that sets his followers apart is their love for each other, and yet we consistently although sometimes unintentionally hurt each other by our sinful actions and talk.
