Responding to authority is something that we connect to on many levels in our lives. For example, the frustration of the parent, coach or supervisor whose directions seem to consistently go unheeded. Or the nagging personal question that we all face, why don’t I respond better to authority? This morning in our study of God’s Word, we are challenged to think again and deeply about our responsiveness to authority, specifically the authority of Jesus Christ.
